Waltham Education and Beyond Foundation [WEBF] was founded in 2007 to serve as a fresh and important resource for ensuring educational excellence in Waltham.

WEBF’s mission is to broaden community support to help achieve educational excellence for all students in Waltham Public Schools. Their approach is to fund projects that are beyond the scope of the regular school budget.

Through a grant process WEBF distributes funds in support of innovative ideas and projects that promote academic achievement, excitement in learning and instruction and to promote new educational ideas and initiatives. Although WEBF is independent of the Waltham Public Schools, they work closely with the school department to ensure their grants reinforce school system goals.
